"On Handwork"

I really want to share this video with you. A dear friend of mine who is an artist and professor shared it.

There's a lot to what this woman above said. It speaks to art and the creative process, but I really hear how that applies to the philosophy of raising and growing your own foods and homestead life in general.

I think that this is a deeply beautiful sentiment and very true.

And I think it applies to a lot of things. It feeds the whole self too- with knowledge, accomplishment and purpose.The soulful element of the back to basics, to get your hands dirty, and the joy involved.
